MCAO Private Prompt Pay Bill Gets First Hearing (HB68)
MCAO MEMBERS:
We are pleased to report that the Ohio House Commerce and Labor committee met this week regarding our Private Prompt Pay Bill, House Bill 68. Representatives Jon Cross (R-Kenton) and Bride Sweeney (D-Cleveland) provided sponsor testimony. There seems to be bipartisan support of the bill, however we are coordinating meetings with the members of the committee to discuss the details of the bill and answer any questions that may arise.
We are anticipating offering proponent testimony on behalf of the MCAO in the next week or so. We’ll keep you posted on our progress!
